DIP switch
A DIP switch is a small internal switch on a pedal used to change settings without external controls1. It can select modes, such as Super Lead or Super Bass on the Xotic SL Drive1, or change the order of overdrive routing on the JAM Pedals Double Dreamer2. It is also commonly used to choose between true bypass and buffered bypass, as on the TC Electronic Zeus Drive and Flashback X434. Other uses include setting midrange positions5, choosing clipping options6, and selecting tone and gain settings on the Red Witch Fuzz God IV7.
