Old Blood Noise Endeavor Excess V2

Old Blood Noise Endeavor Scales Down Its Excess Pedal Leave a comment

Old Blood Noise Endeavor has introduced the Excess V2, a revamped and downsized variant of its three-in-one effects pedal.

Sporting a slimmer and pedalboard-friendlier chassis, the new Excess comes with delay, chorus, and fifth modulation modes, each consisting of controls for time, depth, and volume.

Meanwhile, the distortion side of things has an independent set of tone, gain, and volume dials. Every section features true relay bypass and is accessible via a separate footswitch.

Effects are routable in three distinct ways using a switch: Dist 1st (distortion into modulation), Mod 1st (vice versa), and Parallel, which preserves the modulated signal together with the distorted signal.

Other notable features include an internal trim pot for setting the wet-dry mix of the modulation section and a handy expression pedal input for managing rate and depth externally.

The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Excess V2 operates on 9V power and carries a price tag of $209.
