The BearFoot FX Candy Apple Fuzz is a fuzz pedal from BearFoot FX. Like its sibling pedal, the Pink Purple Fuzz, it has an LED to indicate when it is activated1.
What it does
The Candy Apple Fuzz keeps its control set simple: a Volume control and a Fuzz control. Both the Candy Apple and the Pink Purple carry LEDs to show when the pedal is activated1.
"Designed in Sweden by Bjorn Juhl, the latest offering by BearFoot FX includes the Pink Purple... and the Candy Apple Fuzz"
Related pedals
BearFoot FX offered the Candy Apple Fuzz as one of a pair of fuzzes announced together. The Arctic White Fuzz is another fuzz in the same BJFE/Bearfoot family, and hobbyist builders have published stripboard layouts for both the Arctic White and the Pink Purple1.
The Candy Apple design also lives on in another form: Chase Tone makes the Fuzz Fella Candy Apple Red Germanium, a pedal board friendly design on its current product page2.
