dissa AnimatO

The dissa AnimatO is an analog effects pedal that produces distortion and fuzz tones. It is built as a version of the Human Gear Animato, a distortion pedal, and RockBoard's PedalPedia describes it as a "Human Gear Animato clone"¹. Players looking at it alongside the original will find the same circuit family: the Animato itself is listed as a distortion pedal².

What it does

The AnimatO covers distortion and fuzz sounds in one analog circuit¹. That places it between the two effect types: where a dedicated distortion pedal shapes an overdriven amp-style sound and a fuzz pedal clips the signal harder, this pedal is listed under both. For a player, it means one box for a range of clipped tones rather than separate distortion and fuzz pedals.

Circuit and power

The pedal runs an analog circuit¹. It is powered at 9V DC with a center negative plug¹, the same standard supply used by most compact pedals, so it fits a normal pedalboard power setup.
