Where it came from
The Furs Face is an updated version of a design by Ben Milner. Pedal of the Day notes that "Ben updated his locally loved double fuzz design" to create the pedal, working with Rich Good and Dowd Records1. To make the limited edition run more distinctive, the pedal graphics were designed by Rich Good himself1.
What it does
The Furs Face centers on two footswitchable fuzz channels1. On the high gain fuzz channel, a gated feedback loop can be switched in, and a dual color LED shows, in the words of Pedal of the Day, "on a dark stage whether the fuzz or gated feedback loop is active when using the" high gain channel1. An Octavia effect, the octave-up fuzz style, is also part of the circuit1.

The pedal's construction includes powder coated paint, Switchcraft jacks, metal film resistors, and film capacitors for the audio path1.
The Furs Face was a limited edition handmade pedal. As of 2 January 2022 it was sold out, and Pedal of the Day advised players to "keep an eye out over at Dowd Records for a re-stock"1.
