The Enjoy Electronics Reminder is an effects unit billed as "an all-in-one solution for intricate rhythms, echo space and width", combining delay and reverb functions with a filter in a single box1. It was shown at Superbooth 2019, where MusicRadar described it as "a classy-looking effects unit"1. Players comparing multi-function units may also want to see the wider field of multi-effects pedals, as well as dedicated delay pedals, reverb pedals and filter pedals that cover the same ground one effect at a time.
Controls and connectivity
The Reminder is a stereo effects unit from Enjoy Electronics, billed as "an all-in-one solution for intricate rhythms, echo space and width"1. It includes an assignable foot switch among its controls1.
Quadraphonic output
The most unusual feature is its output arrangement. MusicRadar reported that the unit is a stereo, four-channel quadraphonic system: "A full, four-channel (quadraphonic) system will reproduce the Left Front, Left Back, Right Front, and Right Back audio signals" in four separate speakers1. That makes it a different proposition from a conventional stereo delay or reverb pedal, which works in two channels.
As of the Superbooth 2019 report, no price or release date had been announced; the unit was available as a pre-order through the Enjoy Electronics website1.
