CircuitFully analog, modeled on the 1963 Vibroverb1

The Gurus Amps Sinusoid is a tube-driven analog reverb and vibrato pedal, modeled on the 1963 Vibroverb circuit. It combines two effects in one box: an optical tremolo and a small tank with real springs, both driven by a tube. The two effects can be controlled separately through the two footswitches.1

What It Does

The Sinusoid puts two classic amp-style effects into a single pedal. The reverb side uses a small tank with real springs, driven by a tube, rather than a digital simulation. The vibrato side is an optical tremolo, also driven by a tube. Because the circuit is fully analog and modeled on the 1963 Vibroverb, it aims to reproduce the character of that amp's reverb and tremolo in pedal form.1

The two effects can be used together or separately, and each has its own footswitch, so a player can engage or bypass reverb and vibrato independently mid-performance.1

For comparison, players looking at standalone units can see reverb pedals, vibrato pedals, and tremolo pedals on the site.
