The Hammond Organ EXP-100f is an expression pedal built for Hammond's XK and XE organ series. Expression pedals control volume or another continuous parameter on an organ by foot, and Hammond describes this one as having the same size, the same "feel", and, most importantly, the same "curve" as the Classic B-3's expression pedal, so the swell response matches the vintage instrument. It connects to the organ with its attached cable and is built with what Hammond calls very heavy duty metal construction.1
What it does
The pedal's main job is expression: rocking it with your foot swells the organ's volume the way a B-3 player would. Hammond states the curve matches the Classic B-3, which matters because the swell response is a large part of how an organ pedal feels under the foot.1
Beyond the swell, the EXP-100f carries a programmable "Kick Switch" that can be assigned to a variety of functions, including Leslie speed, letting you change rotor speed from the pedal itself.1
The EXP-100f is designed to operate only with the XK-7, XK-7D, XK-5, XK-3c, XK-3, XK-2, XE-1, and XE-2. On the XK-2, the pedal works but the "Kick Switch" function will not operate.1
Where it fits in Hammond's range
Hammond makes other expression pedals for its organs, and the EXP-50J and EXP-20 cover other models in the lineup. For a look at how expression pedals work in general, see the Expression Pedals type page.

Questions
Which Hammond organs does the EXP-100f work with?
Hammond designed the EXP-100f to operate only with the XK-7, XK-7D, XK-5, XK-3c, XK-3, XK-2, XE-1, and XE-2. It connects to the organ with its attached cable, so there is no separate power supply or adapter to manage. If you play one of these models, this is the pedal Hammond builds for it.
What is the Kick Switch on the EXP-100f?
The EXP-100f includes a programmable Kick Switch that can be set to a variety of functions, including Leslie speed, so you can change rotor speed without leaving the pedal. Note that the Kick Switch function does not operate with the XK-2, even though the pedal itself is compatible with that organ.
