The Harley Benton Plexicon is a compact distortion pedal from Harley Benton's MiniStomp range. MusicRadar described it as a "P-style distortion pedal emulating classic vintage amp tones", and gearnews reported that it was one of the MiniStomp pedals "inspired by famous amp models". It sits alongside other Harley Benton drives such as the MiniStomp Drop Kick and the MiniStomp Sucker Punch in the same line¹²³.

What it does

The Plexicon is a P-style distortion pedal emulating classic vintage amp tones, sold under Harley Benton's MiniStomp name. It is priced at £16.80/€19.90², and the maker describes it and the Dr.D as pedals inspired by famous amp models³.

The pedal's stated job is to put vintage amp-style distortion in a small, inexpensive box. Harley Benton's own product page describes the MiniStomp Plexicon as having a "Solid metal housing", which matters on a pedalboard where a light plastic enclosure can take a beating¹.
