The JHS Pedals Sweet Tea has been discontinued. JHS addressed this directly in its own demo material, saying, "A lot of you noticed the double barrel and the Sweet Tea got discontinued"1.
What it does
The Sweet Tea's two channels are arranged as a double barrel: a low to medium gain drive on one side and a medium to high gain side on the other4. In practice that means one pedal can cover rhythm tones with a touch of grit and then push into fuller distortion for leads, either channel on its own or stacked together.
The later Sweet Tea V3 carried the same idea. On its product page, JHS described it as a pedal "for anyone who wants a versatile overdrive/distortion that covers all the bases you need plus more"5. For a player comparing it with single-channel drives in the JHS range, such as the Morning Glory V4 or the Angry Charlie Channel Drive, the Sweet Tea's distinction is that it combines both ends of the gain range in one box, in the manner of the Double Barrel V4.
Discontinued
The Sweet Tea has been discontinued by JHS Pedals.
JHS confirmed the change in 2026. In a company video, founder Josh Scott said: "A lot of you noticed the double barrel and the Sweet Tea got discontinued"1. The pedal is therefore no longer in current production, and players looking for a new two-in-one drive from JHS would be looking at the company's newer dual designs rather than the Sweet Tea itself.

Questions
Is the JHS Sweet Tea still made?
No. JHS Pedals has discontinued the Sweet Tea. In a 2026 video, JHS founder Josh Scott acknowledged the change, saying, "A lot of you noticed the double barrel and the Sweet Tea got discontinued." Players looking for a current JHS two-in-one drive have to look at other models in the company's range, since the Sweet Tea is no longer in production.
What kind of pedal is the JHS Sweet Tea?
It is a dual overdrive pedal, described in JHS's own demo material as a "double barrel" design: one side covers low to medium gain drive and the other covers medium to high gain. That gives a player two independent drive voices in a single enclosure, from lighter breakup through heavier distortion tones.
