The Dozer Fuzz is a fuzz pedal from Kink Guitar Pedals, a builder based in Melbourne, Australia. Pedal of the Day reviewed it in April 2022, describing it as a pedal that "uses a deceivingly simple set of controls to create a HUGE wave of fuzzy tone"1.
What it does
The Dozer Fuzz takes the fuzz circuit from the Shin-Ei 8TR Fuzz Wah, uses modern components, and puts it into a more pedalboard friendly enclosure, complete with top-mounted jacks1. Pedal of the Day described the effect bluntly: "the Dozer Fuzz immediately turns your signal into a buzzy wall of noise, and it is glorious"1.
"this monster fuzz works great on guitar AND bass"
Its controls are simple. The Rip control sets your output level1. Pedal of the Day's overall verdict was that the pedal's "deceivingly simple set of controls" create "a HUGE wave of fuzzy tone, working with multiple instruments"1.
Where it came from
The Dozer Fuzz's fuzz range from Kink Guitar Pedals also includes the Kink Guitar Pedals Absolution Fuzz V3 and the Blazed Fuzz.
