The Lluna Oscillo Fuzz Drive is an oscillating silicon fuzz drive pedal with a voltage dropper, made by Lastgasp Art Laboratories. Guitar Pedal X describes it as "a loud, searing, strident, oscillating silicon fuzz", and the voltage dropper is the feature that sets it apart from a straight fuzz: the Volt control starves the circuit, changing the feel of the fuzz and pushing it into oscillation1. It sits in the maker's line of oscillating fuzzes alongside the Super Oscillo Fuzz and the Super Oscillo Fuzz 88.
Controls
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Level | Output volume |
| Tone | Tone shaping |
| Volt (Starve >) | Voltage dropper that starves the circuit and changes the feel of the fuzz |
| Gain/Oscillation | Drive gain, pushing the fuzz into oscillation |
The Volt control works together with the Level: as Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson put it, "more Voltage Drop / Starve needs to be compensated by more Level too", so heavier starving calls for a higher Level setting to keep the output up1.
How reviewers heard it
Guitar Pedal X reviewed the Lluna in June 2025, and Stefan Karlsson's verdict was strongly positive: "it may even be my favourite Lastgasp to date - it really sounds immense - has a fantastic livewire sear on it and gorgeo[us]... strident harmonics and superb feedback oscillation"1.
He also shared settings he favored:
- Level and Tone at noon
- Volt at circa 1 o'clock
- Gain just into oscillation at around 2 o'clock1
Availability
The Lluna was available in the UK through Joe's Pedals, priced at £189 there. Karlsson reported that stock had been snapped up already, as had the Hachikyu Shiki Kebadate Hizumaseki DualOscillo Fuzz1.
