The Morley M2 Wah Volume is a rocker pedal from Morley that combines two jobs in one housing: it works as a wah pedal or as a volume pedal, and you choose between Wah or Volume mode1. It belongs to Morley's M2 line, announced in 2014, and sits alongside the M2 Wah, which it shares its features with1.
What it does
In Wah mode, the pedal is a vintage-voiced wah, and a wah level control lets you set the wah's output level independently1. In Volume mode, the rocker treadle acts as a volume pedal instead, so one pedal can cover both roles on a board. The pedal also includes Morley's True Tone buffer and LED indication1. For more on how volume pedals work in a signal chain, see Volume Pedals, and for the wah side, see Wah-Wah Pedals.
Housing and warranty
Like the rest of the M2 line at launch, the M2 Wah Volume is housed in Morley's rolled steel housing, and all the new M2 pedals carried a two-year warranty1.
Related Morley pedals
Morley has made several other wah and volume combinations, including the Morley Power Wah Volume, the Morley Mini Wah Volume and the Morley Volume Plus. If you only need volume, the Morley M2 Passive Volume comes from the same M2 line.
