The Pepers' Pedals 4049 Skitz Bass Overdrive is a bass overdrive pedal, a bass pedal that pushes a bass signal into overdrive. It is made by Pepers' Pedals, which is not a large company: the reviewer who wrote about it describes the builder as someone who "builds this shit in his spare time as a side project, to earn a few extra bucks", so it comes from a one-person operation rather than a pedal manufacturer with a product line1.

What reviewers said
Jimi Dymond's guest review is unusually positive. He frames the pedal as the one he had been hunting for, and his overall verdict covers versatility, build and character1:
"If you require a versatile and unique pedal this is the one that you need. It's sturdy, powerful and something I'm never"
The review's overall impression is that the pedal is versatile, unique, sturdy, powerful and fun1. That is one reviewer's view of one pedal from a small builder, and it stands as the published word on the 4049 Skitz.
