The Port City Amplification Sahana Drive is an overdrive pedal that blends boost and overdrive into a single unit. It is the new version of the company's previously released Sahana Boost, reworked as a drive pedal rather than a straight boost1. Port City also makes the Gain of Thrones Distortion & Boost, another drive-plus-boost design in its range.
What it does
Port City describes the Sahana Drive as adapted from an ever-popular overdrive circuit and tailored to the company's own standards. Compared with the circuit it comes from, the pedal has a smoother drive section with a strong low-mid presence, a tone control with a larger sweep, and a response the maker describes as noticeably more sensitive than other mid-gain overdrive pedals1.

Build and hardware
