The Sobbat FB-4, sold as the Fuzz Breaker 4, is an analog effect pedal that produces fuzz and octave-fuzz effects when used with an electric guitar. Sobbat makes the pedal, and it belongs to the wider family of fuzz pedals, sitting alongside overdrive pedals and distortion pedals as a way of pushing an amp or adding grit to a clean signal.1

Power and use on a pedalboard

The FB-4 runs on 9V DC with a center-negative plug, the standard arrangement for guitar pedals, and draws 6mA. That is a light load by pedal standards, so it fits easily on a shared or daisy-chained supply alongside other effects without taxing a power brick. Because the circuit is analog, it carries none of the latency or conversion behavior associated with digital effects such as delay pedals or multi-effects pedals.1
