The ZVex Peaches N Cream is a signature fuzz pedal made by Zachary Vex for the band Larkin Poe, announced in June 2019. It is a small, two-knob fuzz in an orange custom enclosure, in the dinky format ZVex is known for across pedals like the Fuzz Probe and Woolly Mammoth1.
What it does
The Peaches N Cream is a fuzz, the family of dirt pedals that clips the signal hard for a thick, sustaining tone. It sits alongside ZVex's other fuzz designs, from the Fuzz Factory to the Fuzzolo, as part of the maker's fuzz range1.
What set it apart at announcement was who it was for. Larkin Poe revealed the pedal on their Facebook page, and gearnews.com reported that "they are to get a new ZVex signature fuzz pedal called the Peaches N Cream"1.
Controls and format
The pedal appears, in the video the band used to announce it, as "a little two knob, orange custom fuzz pedal"1. The functions of those two knobs were not given at announcement.
Availability and price
At the time of the announcement the pedal was imminent but not officially launched. Gearnews wrote: "We will now have to wait until it is officially launched to get the full details on this new boutique dirt box"1.
