Dethy Borchardt is a guitarist who plays with the band Mad Max, and also works as a session guitarist, studio guitarist and guitar teacher1. He is one of the players featured on Nobels' artist pages, where he names his overdrive of choice1.
Gear
Borchardt plays the Nobels ODR-mini, a compact overdrive pedal. Nobels quotes him on it:
"I love my nobels ODR Mini , best overdrive pedal and it's small enough to fit in any airline luggage ."
His comment points to two things a working player cares about: the sound, which he praises in his own words, and the size, small enough to travel with.1
