Sam Kirsch is an American extreme metal guitarist who occupies stage-right for the East Coast death metal band Abnormality1. He is a featured HeadRush artist, using HeadRush products in his touring and recording setups2, with the HeadRush Pedalboard as his HeadRush gear1.
Bands and projects
Before joining Abnormality, Kirsch played for Forced Asphyxiation, a Boston-based death-grind band1. He first appeared on Abnormality's record Mechanisms of Omniscience, released through Metal Blade Records in the spring of 20161. Beyond the band, he writes, records and produces a solo project called Ages in Oblivion1, and at the time HeadRush featured him he was working on the newest Abnormality record, due out later in 20181.
Gear
Kirsch's HeadRush gear is the HeadRush Pedalboard, a multi-effects floor unit1. He describes what switched him over to it in his own words:
"I was never a big pedal and effect guy, but the moment that I plugged the Headrush in, I realized that I had no idea what I had been missing."
