Glossary
TRS
Pedals use TRS jacks for stereo operation, as on the Nobels MOD-mini and CHO-mini, which offer stereo processing via TRS12. TRS jacks also serve as insert points, letting players route effects into a wet signal or split a pedal into two independent units, as on the Seymour Duncan Vapor Trail Delay and Keeley Aria34. In MIDI applications, pedals such as the Boss DM-101 and Strymon Conduit send and receive MIDI data over mini or 1/4-inch TRS connections56. TRS cables are also used to connect expression pedals to pedals with expression inputs7.
