KHDK, Trivium Team Up for the In Waves Clean Booster Leave a comment

KHDK Electronics has again joined forces with Trivium’s Corey Beaulieu and Matt Heafy for the In Waves, a clean booster named after the band’s 2011 album.

Sporting a bright, colorful enclosure, KHDK Electronics touts the In Waves as its “most insane clean boost” ever. The control interface is relatively straightforward with dials for Bass, Treble, and Boost, along with a Tight switch right at the center.

Boost is in charge of the output volume, with the max setting producing what KHDK warns as “Seriously. Loud” volume. Meanwhile, you can boost (clockwise), cut (counterclockwise), and neutralize (center) the self-explanatory Bass and Treble dials.

Ultimately, the Tight switch manages the low-end amount in the preamp section. Per the brand, “The center position cuts most of the low end for a tight bass response,” while “the up position boosts the bass response, perfect for soloing or single note work.”

Other features include true bypass and 9V to 18V power operation.

Limited to only 333 units, each KHDK Electronics In Waves lists for $249 and comes with a certificate signed by Heafy and Beaulieu.
