The Aleks K Production Honey Moon Sweet Overdrive V3 is a dual-drive overdrive pedal: two combinable drive circuits in one box, so a player can run either side alone or stack them for more saturation. Guitar Pedal X describes the design as "somewhat reminiscent of a Dumble Drive, with a hint of Carlos Santana and Ernie Isley," placing it in the smooth, singing overdrive territory associated with those players rather than the mid-humped character of a Tube Screamer-style pedal1.
What it does
The Drive 1 and Drive 2 controls set the two circuits, and the pedal blends two complementary circuits, which Brett Kingman describes as somewhat reminiscent of a Dumble Drive, with a hint of Carlos Santana and Ernie Isley1. The Filter control and its Filter Off switch shape the top end, alongside the master Tone and Volume1. Aleks K Production lists the Honey Moon Sweet V3 at $2691.
