The Mini Screamer is budget guitar effects pedal manufacturer Ammoon’s take on the ever-popular TS9 Tube Screamer drive pedal by Ibanez. It replicates the Tube Screamer’s signature hot tube valve-style overdrive and is also powered by a highly prized JRC4558 chip (it’s the D model with the eight-pin DIP, if you’re into that sort of thing) that provides the crunch for a very large number of popular overdrive stomps. The Mini Screamer’s small size makes it ideal for compact or crowded pedalboards.

    Works like a champ. If you’re looking for a compact-sized Tube Screamer clone, this is a great option. It’s not too noisy and works well as a clean boost with some grit.
