Donner's looper line also includes the Circle Looper, a larger looper pedal with a built-in drum machine and a time progress bar display1.
What it does
The Circle Looper takes the idea further. It offers 160 minutes of total recording capacity, a built-in drum machine, and a time progress bar display that shows where you are in the loop13. Its single Looper knob selects the position, volume level, and fade-out time of the loop3, and it connects to a computer over a Type-B Micro USB port3.
The Circle Looper was listed as sold out on Donner's donnerdeal store as of October 20263.
How players use it
Owners quoted on Donner's store page describe both soloing and songwriting uses:
- Stephen G. uses it "to lay down a quick background track to solo over" and for composing3.
- Dianne D. plays computerized keyboards through it and found it works for keyboard use as well as guitar3.
For comparison with other compact loopers, see the TC Electronic Ditto Looper, the Boss RC-1 Loop Station, and the wider looping pedals category, which also covers Donner's own Donner Tiny Looper and Donner Deluxe Looper.
