Empress Effects Echosystem Dual Engine Delay

The Empress Effects Echosystem Dual Engine Delay is a delay effects pedal, made by Empress Effects. As the name says, it is built around two delay engines, and it belongs to the wider family of delay pedals that repeat and shape the notes you play¹.

Pedal of the Day, which featured the pedal in November 2017, described it simply as "the Echosystem Dual Engine Delay effects pedal from Empress Effects"¹.

Where it sits in Empress Effects' delay range

Empress Effects has built several delay pedals, and the Echosystem is one of them. The company's other delay designs include¹:

• Empress Effects Superdelay
• Empress Effects Tape Delay, which leans toward the character of a tape echo
• The Echosystem itself, which carries the "Dual Engine" name, pointing to its two-engine approach to delay¹
