ENGL Fuzzyhead Custom

The ENGL Fuzzyhead Custom is an analog distortion pedal made by ENGL, the German amplifier builder. It is designed to put a distortion stage in front of an amp, in the same territory as ENGL's other stompboxes such as the Engl Fireball IR and the ENGL Powerball EP645.¹

Power and setup

The Fuzzyhead Custom runs on a 9V DC supply with center negative polarity and draws 15mA of current¹. That is a light load, so it can share a standard pedalboard power supply output without trouble. The pedal is analog rather than digital¹, which matters to players who keep their signal path analog.
