The Flamma FS03 is a stereo digital delay pedal with a built-in looper. Flamma describes it as a "Stereo Delay Guitar Effects Pedal with 80-second Looper," with six traditional stereo delay effects plus a seventh mode that turns the pedal into a looper with up to 80 seconds of record time1. Delicious Audio's Nicholas Kula called it "a delay effect experimentation station in a compact, affordable package"2.
Modes and what each one adds
The FS03 has seven modes: six delay effects and a seventh looper mode2. Flamma's product page describes the six as "traditional stereo delay effects"1, but several of them add a second effect to the repeats, which is where the experimentation comes in.
| Mode | What it adds |
|---|---|
| Galaxy | An envelope effect applied to the repeats2 |
| Liquid | Added phaser2 |
| Lofi | Bit reduction applied to the signal2 |
| Looper (mode 7) | Up to 80 seconds of record time, input/output level controls, built-in delay effect32 |
The JHS Pedals blog highlighted the range of choices: "You've got several different modes to choose from, but my favorite is called 'Galaxy.'"5 The Tweak knobs (below) change their function from mode to mode, so each delay flavor comes with its own set of secondary parameters.
The looper mode is worth its own note. Beyond the 80-second record time, it gives you input and output level controls and a built-in delay effect, so you can texture your loops without extra pedals3.
Knobs, tap tempo and presets
The control layout is two rows of three knobs. The top row is the same in every mode2:
- Mix: the balance between dry and delayed signal2
- Time: the delay time2
- Feedback: the number of repeats2
The bottom row is two "Tweak" knobs, Tweak.1 and Tweak.2, and these change their function depending on the selected mode. Pedal of the Day lists the parameters they can manipulate as "Filter, Vibrato, Chorus, Flanger, Slow-Gear, Stutter and more"3. Delicious Audio puts it the same way: the two bottom-row knobs "tweak parameters that vary according to the selected mode"2.
Tap tempo works through the main footswitch: hold it down for one second to enter tap tempo, then tap in your delay time3. Flamma's own listing confirms tap tempo support via footswitch1.
Presets are per mode. Flamma lists "storable presets for each effect module"1, and Pedal of the Day explains what that means in practice: "You can also easily save a Preset for each mode, letting you access your favorite settings in the blink of an eye."3
How it differs from the Flamma FC03
The FS03 is the bigger sibling of the Flamma FC03 delay, which Pedal of the Day called "the FC03 Delay's big brother"3. The comparison is a useful one for a player choosing between them:
| Flamma FC03 | Flamma FS03 | |
|---|---|---|
| Delay time | 5 to 600 ms2 | Up to 2 seconds2 |
| Modes | Analog, Real Echo, Tape Echo32 | 6 delay modes plus looper2 |
| Looper | No | 80 seconds3 |
| Stereo | No | Yes1 |
| Status | Sold out at Flamma's store (2026)4 | Current |
The FC03 is a mini pedal that, in Gearnews' Julian Schmauch's words, "brings three classic delay flavors (Analog, Real Echo, and Tape Echo) into a pedalboard-friendly box" with "a delay range up to 600 ms"6. The FS03 roughly triples the maximum delay time, adds stereo operation, six modes instead of three, and the looper. Flamma also makes the FC17 Analog Delay, a BBD-based mini pedal, for players who want an analog circuit instead.
What reviewers said
Published coverage of the FS03 has been positive:
- Pedal of the Day (2021): "A true 'experimentation station', this one features Delay, a Looper, Presets and more"3
- Delicious Audio (2023): "The FS03 is designed to be a delay effect experimentation station in a compact, affordable package."2
- JHS Pedals blog (2026): the writer, who used the FS03 in live episodes, said "It's $75, and I would put it on any board, any time, any gig."5
"It's $75, and I would put it on any board, any time, any gig."
Price
Flamma's own store lists the FS03 at a regular price of $88.00, with a sale price of $78.001. The JHS Pedals blog, writing in 2026, put it at $755.

Questions
How long is the looper on the Flamma FS03?
The FS03's seventh mode is a looper with up to 80 seconds of record time. It also has input and output level controls and a built-in delay effect you can use on your loops.
Does the Flamma FS03 have tap tempo?
Yes. The pedal supports tap tempo via its footswitch, and you access it by holding the footswitch down for one second, so you can set your delay time in time with the song.
What is the maximum delay time on the FS03?
The FS03 delivers a maximum of 2 seconds of delay. That is longer than Flamma's smaller FC03 delay, which offers delay times between 5 and 600 milliseconds.
Is the Flamma FS03 stereo?
Yes. The FS03 is a stereo delay pedal, and Flamma describes its six delay effects as traditional stereo delay effects. It is part of Flamma's line of affordable multi-mode stereo time pedals.
Can the FS03 save presets?
Yes. The FS03 has storable presets for each effect module, which in practice means one saved preset per mode, so you can recall a favorite setting quickly.
How much does the Flamma FS03 cost?
Flamma lists the FS03 at a regular price of $88.00, with a sale price of $78.00 on its own store. A 2026 JHS Pedals blog post put it at $75.
