What it does
Pedal of the Day's reviewer, Mike B, described it as "one of those classic-sounding pedals that you just plug in and go", needing little dialing in. He found "a great range of noise located in the Muzz Fuzz", spanning from subtle overdrive territory to heavy buzzsaw fuzz.1
The Level control has a large amount of gain on tap, which the reviewer said makes it easy to cut through a mix, to the point of overpowering bass or cymbal-heavy drums. He summed up the sustain as "Sustain for days, great for leads AND chords alike".1
