The GoGo is a pedal tuner from GoGo Tuners, announced in January 2012 as the brand's first pedal tuner. It sits on the floor like any stompbox tuner and shows your tuning state at a glance: the large, high-definition display turns green when you are in tune and red when you are out, following the company's "Green you're in, Red you're Out" approach1.
Display and enclosure
The tuning display is built around the company's signature color scheme. As No Treble reported at launch, "The large, high-definition display follows the company's signature 'Green you're in, Red you're Out,'" meaning the screen tells you in tune or out of tune by color alone, readable from a standing position1.
The pedal is housed in a metal chassis and finished in orange. Kevin Johnson of No Treble noted the reason: "the stompbox is colored the orange for better visibility on dark stages"1.
Power and the DC output
The GoGo runs on either a 9V battery or a 9V power adapter1. It also has a DC output, which lets you power another pedal via the tuner1. That makes it usable as a small power pass-through on a compact board, in the same spirit as pedals like the Caline Tuner Power or the Rowin Power Tuner.
Bypass
The GoGo features True Bypass, so the tuner's circuit is out of the signal path when the pedal is not engaged1.
Price and availability
No Treble reported at the January 2012 announcement that "The GoGo Tuners GoGo pedal tuner is available for $69.99"1. GoGo Tuners later expanded the lineup with other pedal tuners, including the GoGo Tuners Caliber and the GoGo Tuners Horizon.
