Haggtronix Rotten Sorcerer

The Rotten Sorcerer is an analog fuzz pedal from Haggtronix, a maker whose fuzz designs lean toward bass players. RockBoard's PedalPedia describes it as "a fuzz pedal that shines when used with a bass guitar, it sounds absolutely killer with guitar as well," so it is built to hold its character on either instrument¹. The maker's own framing is colorful: "A dark wizard from below, the Rotten Sorcerer has risen from the dirt and sludge to cast his gritty fuzz spells"¹.

Controls and power

The pedal keeps its control set simple. The Volume knob "controls how loud or quiet the signal is," so the output level is set by ear against the rest of the board¹. Power is a standard 9V DC, center negative supply¹.

Price

Premier Guitar's July 2023 news item on Haggtronix listed the Rotten Sorcerer at $150 USD².
