The Industrialectric Incinerator Deluxe is a dual-channel silicon fuzz with two built-in oscillators, described by Delicious Audio as adding "an insane unpredictable element" to the sound. It is the expanded version of the Industrialectric Incinerator, a fuzz from the Canadian manufacturer Industrialectric, and it carries the same circuit as the original.1
What it does
The Incinerator is a dual-channel silicon fuzz integrated by two oscillators. Silicon fuzz sits on the harder-edged side of the fuzz family, and the two oscillators here are there to push the pedal into unstable, synth-like territory: Delicious Audio describes their function as adding "an insane unpredictable element" to the sound.1
The circuit is built around 26 transistors, five of which are rare silicon transistors, spread across the pedal's two channels. Channel 1 has voltage starve, a control that lowers the voltage fed to the circuit and changes how the fuzz behaves.2
The Deluxe version
The Deluxe keeps the original Incinerator circuit and adds to it. Delicious Audio's buying guide sums up the difference: "The Deluxe version has a potentiometer and separate ins/outs for the two channels."3 The product page lists the same feature as "Separate inputs and outputs for each channel," which means each channel can be sent to its own path on a board or amp setup.1
The two versions line up like this:
| Original Incinerator | Incinerator Deluxe | |
|---|---|---|
| Circuit | dual-channel silicon fuzz with two oscillators | same circuit as the original1 |
| Channels | 22 | 22 |
| Extra potentiometer | not listed | yes3 |
| Separate inputs and outputs per channel | not listed | yes13 |
The Deluxe announcement also brought a set of hardware extras beyond the routing changes31:
Industrialectric describes the Incinerator Deluxe as a dual-channel Silicon fuzz integrated by two oscillators, whose function is to add an insane unpredictable element1. The company states that it boasts the same circuit as the original Incinerator1.
Design and availability
The pedal's look is part of its identity. Gearnews described it as "a boutique pedal design that looks like something from a 1950s Russian missile silo, complete with a VU meter and big red lights, switches and knobs."2
Industrialectric recently announced the availability of a few units of the Incinerator Deluxe1. The company describes it as a dual-channel Silicon fuzz integrated by two oscillators whose function is to add an insane unpredictable element1.
The Incinerator Deluxe was recently announced with only a few units available1. It uses the same circuit as the original Incinerator1.
For another take on Industrialectric's approach to unstable fuzz, the company also makes the Generator 7446.

Questions
What is the Industrialectric Incinerator Deluxe?
It is a dual-channel silicon fuzz pedal by the Canadian manufacturer Industrialectric. The circuit uses 26 transistors and includes two oscillators whose function, as Delicious Audio describes it, is to add an insane unpredictable element to the fuzz sound. The Deluxe version carries the same circuit as the original Incinerator but adds a potentiometer and separate inputs and outputs for the two channels.
How is the Deluxe different from the original Incinerator?
Delicious Audio's product page states that the Deluxe boasts the same circuit as the original Incinerator. What the Deluxe adds is a potentiometer and separate inputs and outputs for the two channels, so each channel can be routed on its own. The original Incinerator was also re-released by Industrialectric for its 10th anniversary.
