Kasleder FX Pelion

The Kasleder FX Pelion is a three-knob overdrive that also works as a clean boost, sitting between the boost and overdrive camps. Pedal of the Day, reviewing it in July 2019, described it as "a simple, three-knob overdrive that also works wonders as a clean boost" and traced its lineage to the Klon, calling it "an excellent Klon-inspired beauty."¹

What it does

The Pelion keeps what the reviewer called the basic properties of the Klon while expanding on its transparency. Rather than drastically changing the original character of your guitar tone, Pedal of the Day found that it enhances it, letting the player's own sound come through.¹

The Gain knob covers a wide range in a single control:

• At the low end, a perfectly clean boost with a lot of headroom
• Moving up, a wider spectrum of grit
• At the top, a medium gain overdrive¹

How it was received

Pedal of the Day ran a series called The Klone Wars comparing Klon-style pedals, and the Pelion stood out in it: the reviewer wrote that it "has been one of our favorites in that lineup so far."¹

Build quality

Pedal of the Day notes that all Kasleder FX pedals are true bypass and are built with what the reviewer called the highest quality parts: Alpha potentiometers, Neutrik jack plugs, and Nichicon, Wima and Philips capacitors.¹

Kasleder FX builds the Pelion as a simple, three-knob overdrive that also works wonders as a clean boost, and the reviewer noted that all Kasleder FX pedals are true bypass.¹
