The Keeley VoT Workstation is a stereo Tremolo + Reverb pedal from Keeley, unveiled in November 2018 as part of a pair of Tremolo + Reverb pedals alongside the Keeley Verb O Trem. The two are identical in color and share some features, with the VoT Workstation being the stereo version of the two1.
What it does
The pedal puts a tremolo and a reverb in one enclosure, and the two effects can be switched on and off independently through separate footswitches. That means a player can use either effect alone or both together, in stereo1.
Both halves of the pedal follow the same layout: each has a knob on the left selecting 8 different modes, and a set of four more knobs controlling individual settings for reverb and tremolo respectively1.
The tremolo's rate can be set through the classic tap-tempo functionality1.
Reverb modes
The reverb side offers eight modes1:
- 2 Spring
- 3 Spring
- Plate
- Hall
- Chamber
- Room
- Fugue
- Slapback
Where it sits in Keeley's range
The VoT Workstation belongs to a family of Keeley combined reverb and tremolo pedals. The Keeley Verb O Trem is its mono sibling, identical in color and sharing some features1. Players looking at stereo reverb and tremolo from Keeley may also come across the Keeley Hydra and the Keeley Zoma, and the Keeley Vibe O Verb applies the same Workstation formula with a vibrato in place of the tremolo.
