The TV X Rocket Fuzz is a fuzz pedal made by KMA Machines, a maker better known today for pedals like the Chief Disruptor and the Fuzzly Bear 2. It appeared on Pedal of the Day on August 20, 2014, in a video review submitted by Kyle1.
What it does
As a fuzz, the TV X Rocket Fuzz sits in the family of clipping effects that push a guitar signal into hard distortion, the territory covered alongside distortion and overdrive pedals. Pedal of the Day presented it as part of its video review series, with Kyle noting it was "another pedal from our friends at" KMA Machines1.
Where it sits in KMA Machines' range
The TV X Rocket Fuzz sits within a broader catalog from KMA Machines, a maker whose range extends beyond fuzz into other drive and modulation designs. Where the TV X Rocket Fuzz falls in the maker's release history, and how it relates to the other pedals KMA Machines has built, is best judged against the maker's current lineup rather than any single comparison point.
Published coverage of the TV X Rocket Fuzz is limited to the 2014 Pedal of the Day video review. Details such as its controls, power requirements and bypass type are not covered there.
