The Bomber Overdrive is an analog overdrive pedal from M2 Labs, reviewed by Pedal of the Day in January 2025. It is built to cover more ground than a single-purpose drive: the review describes it delivering rich, full-bodied distortion, all-out overdrive at maximum settings, and a subtle clean boost when kept low, all in the analog spirit the maker favors.1

What it does

The pedal's range is its main selling point. At one end, Pedal of the Day describes dialing it up to max for an "all-out, roaring overdrive"; at the other, keeping it clean "adds a sparkle that's felt as much as heard." In between it can act as a distortion pedal, which places it alongside overdrive pedals, distortion pedals and boost pedals rather than in just one camp.1

The reviewer's verdict was that versatility is the point:

"Bringing a wide range of sounds to the table, this pedal is the result of two people united by a common dream and a relentless pursuit of excellence"
Pedal of the Day, 20251

The same review sums it up as "full of sparkle, grit and pure analog power."1
