The Morley M2 Wah is a vintage-voiced wah pedal, launched in March 2014 as part of Morley's M2 range. A wah pedal sweeps a filter across your guitar's frequencies as you rock the treadle, and Morley describes this one as carrying a vintage character. It shipped at a UK price of £84.99, reported as $140 in the US1.
Controls and features
The M2 Wah keeps its control set simple. MusicRadar's launch report lists:
- A wah level control, for setting the volume of the effect
- A True Tone buffer
- LED indication, showing when the pedal is engaged1
The True Tone buffer is Morley's own circuit, included in the M2 Wah to sit between the pedal's stages1. The pedal is housed in Morley's rolled steel housing, the same enclosure style the company uses across its pedal range1.
Where it sits in Morley's range
The M2 Wah is one of several wahs Morley makes. Players comparing it with other Morley pedals can look at the Morley Classic Wah, the switchless Morley Bad Horsie 2, or the compact Morley Mini Wah.
