The MoVall Jumpspace is a compact overdrive through high gain distortion pedal, described by Guitar Pedal X as "MoVall had done its own budget take of the Tube Zone", referring to the MI Audio Tube Zone overdrive. It follows the Tube Zone's topology and range, and carries the exact same labeled control layout as the Tube Zone's six controls, so a player who knows the original can drive it straight away1.
Where the original is hand-built, the MoVall version is based on SMD construction, with components mounted directly on the circuit board. That is how it reaches its price: reviewer Stefan Karlsson bought his on Amazon for £18.75, which he gives as $25, calling it "the cheapest pedal I've ever bought"1.
Price and availability
The Jumpspace's price has moved upward since its review. Karlsson noted it "has since gone up to £43 - where I believe I saw it at £53 even at one stage too", so the price bounces around on Amazon in British pounds1.
The Jumpspace is a budget import pedal whose price shifts frequently on Amazon. Figures here are from September 2025.
How it compares to the Tube Zone
Karlsson's verdict, comparing it directly with the MI Audio Tube Zone V1:
"The MoVall Jumpspace is around 80% of the Tube Zone - not quite as lively or vibrant sounding, nor as tonally complex"
He still found it "retains the massive range from bluesy overdrive to fairly searing high gain distortion overall", which puts it in the same territory as other overdrive and distortion pedals, at a fraction of the original's cost1.
One practical caution for anyone considering opening one up:
"Any modification should involve a qualified tech."
