The Night Owl Industries Monolith Post-Amp Boost is a clean boost pedal, introduced as a "Post-Amp": a boost designed to be placed after all of your other effects rather than in front of them. Its very high headroom keeps it from overloading when it is fed the full output of a board, and it adds volume, clarity and bass to the signal on the way to the amp¹. What it does

The Monolith is a custom-voiced clean boost with a powerful tone control. The Tone control sweeps from a treble and midrange boost that, as the review puts it, will cut through any mix, down to a very low bass boost¹. That range lets a player shape the final lift into the amp: a midrange-forward push for solos, or a low-end thickening for a fuller core sound.
