The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Minim Reverb Delay and Reverse is a reverse delay reverb pedal, released in November 20191. It sits in the Oregon maker's line of experimental time-based effects, alongside pedals like the Mondegreen and the Black Fountain, and belongs to the broader family of delay pedals and reverb pedals.
Where it came from
The Minim is based on the Rêver, which Old Blood Noise Endeavors originally made as a joint project with Datachoir. With the Minim, OBNE expanded on the original circuit's features and repackaged it into the Minim enclosure1. The earlier collaboration remains its own pedal, covered separately on the Old Blood Noise Endeavors / Datachoir Rêver page, and the design also fed later reverse-effect pedals in the range such as the Rêver Reverse Delay and Reverb.
Design
The pedal's enclosure carries artwork by Tim Elliott, described by JHS Pedals as "eerie"1. That visual style has been a running thread through OBNE's releases, from the Minim to later pedals like the PARTING.
