The Old Blood Noise Minim is a delay, reverb and reverse pedal in one enclosure, made by Old Blood Noise Endeavors of Oklahoma City. The maker describes it simply: "Minim is a reverb, delay, and reverse paired together."1 Inside is a newly voiced reverb with harmonic tremolo, a modulated delay with nearly infinite repeats available, and a reverse section, all in a collage-style art enclosure.2
The two effect sides run serially, and an Order toggle lets you choose which comes first. MusicRadar explains the layout: "It houses reverb on one side, delay on the other. The effects are run serially but, at the flick of a toggle switch, Minim" lets you swap the order.3 The reverse section can also be placed first or last in the chain, which Delicious Audio describes as "order switching to put reverse first in the chain for ambient wash or last in the chain for glitchy textures."2
A variant of the Rêver
The Minim did not appear from nowhere. Old Blood Noise Endeavors created it "built from the foundation laid out by Rêver," the company's collaboration with Datachoir.2 Gearnews reported at launch that the Minim was "based on Rêver."5 Guitar World's Jonathan Horsley framed it as "a formidable effects pedal that takes up where Old Blood Noise's Datachoir collaboration, the Rêver, left off."6
For a player, that lineage means the Minim keeps the reverse-reverb idea of the earlier pedal but reworks it: the reverb is newly voiced with harmonic tremolo, and the delay side adds modulation of its own.2
The controls
Guitar World's review lists the full control set: Blend, Delay, Time, Feedback, Reverb, Modulation, Decay, Order switch, Speed switch, Reverse footswitch and Bypass footswitch.4 The maker groups them as Time and Feedback for the delay, and mix, modulation and decay for the reverb.12
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Blend | Overall effect mix; also controllable with an expression pedal4 |
| Reverb | Dials in the amount of reverb effect3 |
| Modulation | Sets the reverb's harmonic tremolo depth2 |
| Decay | Adjusts the length of the reverb's decay4 |
| Delay | Sets the amount of the delay effect6 |
| Time | Sets the delay time, up to 400ms3 |
| Feedback | Sets delay repeats, up to nearly infinite2 |
| Order switch | Chooses whether reverb or delay comes first3 |
| Speed switch | Switches settings on the reverse side4 |
MusicRadar noted that "the Reverb control behaves as you would imagine, dialling in the amount of effect you want."3
Expression, bypass and power
The Minim has an expression jack for external control of Blend, so an expression pedal can sweep the wet and dry mix while you play.1 Delicious Audio's earlier product page described the jack as controlling the Reverse mix instead, so the two accounts differ on what the expression input sweeps.2
The main Bypass footswitch is a soft-touch switch for true bypass with minimal switch noise.1 The reverse side has its own independent footswitch with a momentary action: hold it down and the reverse effect comes in for as long as you keep it there.3 Guitar World notes the switch can be set to momentary or latching operation, so you can also leave reverse on until you step again.4
The Minim requires a 9V DC center negative supply with a 2.1mm jack, capable of 170mA, and the supply is not included.1 At 170mA it is a relatively hungry pedal, so a daisy-chain supply needs a tap that can deliver enough current.
Availability
As of October 2026 the maker's product page lists the Minim as sold out, at a list price of $249.00.1 Guitar.com gave a UK price of £199 at the time of its coverage.7

Questions
What is the Old Blood Noise Minim based on?
It is built from the foundation laid out by the Rêver, Old Blood Noise Endeavors' collaboration with Datachoir. Guitar World described the Minim as taking up where the Rêver left off, keeping the reverse-reverb concept in a new pedal with its own reverb and delay voicing.
Does the Minim have an expression input?
Yes. The maker lists an expression jack for external control of Blend, so an expression pedal can sweep the wet and dry mix while you play. Connections are a standard input, a standard output and the expression jack.
Is the Minim's reverse footswitch momentary or latching?
Both. The reverse side has its own independent footswitch that can work either way. In momentary mode the reverse effect comes in for as long as you hold the switch down, which suits quick stabs of reverse; latching mode keeps it on until you switch it off.
What power does the Old Blood Noise Minim use?
It requires a 9V DC center negative power supply with a 2.1mm jack, capable of supplying 170mA. The supply is not included with the pedal, and there is no battery option.
Where is the Old Blood Noise Minim made?
Guitar World lists its origin as the USA. Old Blood Noise Endeavors is an Oklahoma City based builder, and the Minim carries the company's collage-style artwork on its enclosure.
Is the Minim still available?
As of October 2026 the maker's product page lists the Minim as sold out, at a list price of $249.00. It was originally released in November 2019 through oldbloodnoise.com.
