The Galaxy Reverb is a reverb pedal from Pedal Monsters, built around Belton Brick technology with true bypass and, in the words of Pedal of the Day's review, "only the highest quality internal components"1. It sits in the reverb category, alongside other pedals covered on the Reverb Pedals page, and it is the older brother of the one-knob Well Reverb, sharing the same "DNA" as its younger counterpart while adding more control over the effect1.
What it does
The Galaxy gives a player three knobs to shape the reverb, and each does a distinct job1:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Reverb | Basically a Mix knob, adding in or taking out the reverb effect from your signal path, depending on how much you want1 |
| Tone | Gives a nice bite when cranked up, as well as smoother and mellower verb tones when dialed back a bit1 |
| Feedback | Lets you play around with different levels of intensity and length of reverb, working together with the Reverb knob to combine for a plethora of crazy, reverberated sounds1 |
The Feedback control, which the review also calls Decay, is where the pedal stretches out: it sets the intensity and length of the reverb, and combined with the Reverb mix it opens up a wide range of reverberated sounds1.
What reviewers said
Pedal of the Day reviewed the Galaxy in November 2015, and its reviewer Mike B came away impressed by how much the small box delivers1:
"this one really packs a huge punch for such a small and simple piece of equipment"
The review framed the Galaxy as a step up from a simple one-knob reverb, moving into a fuller reverb pedal with enough control to cover a lot of ground1.

Questions
What is the Reverb knob on the Galaxy Reverb?
The Reverb knob works as a mix control. It adds in or takes out the reverb effect from your signal path, depending on how much of the effect you want blended with your dry tone. Working together with the Feedback control, it shapes the overall amount and character of the reverberated sound.
How does the Galaxy Reverb relate to the Well Reverb?
The Galaxy is the older brother of the one-knob Well Reverb, with the same DNA as its younger counterpart, but it adds more controls and a wider range of sounds. Where the Well keeps things to a single knob, the Galaxy gives you Reverb, Tone and Feedback controls to shape the effect.
