The Pedal Projects Limited Edition Tremolo is a tremolo pedal from Pedal Projects, a builder the reviewer called "our friends in Iceland". As the name says, it was a limited edition, and Pedal of the Day's Mike B wrote that he was "not even sure how many of them Ásgeir actually built, so this one is pretty special."1
The Limited Edition Tremolo is not in production. Pedal of the Day's review states: "This Limited Edition Tremolo is not in production"1, so it is a secondhand-only proposition.
What it does
It is a tremolo, the effect that rhythmically raises and lowers the volume of your signal. Pedal Projects kept the layout minimal: two knobs and one toggle switch. The Speed knob is unlabeled and sets the tremolo rate, and the reviewer found its range wide: "The Speed has a good range, going from a turtle's crawl to a freakout, breakneck pace, with many variations in between."1
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Speed (unlabeled knob) | Sets the tremolo rate, from slow to very fast1 |
| Toggle switch | Switches between tremolo modes1 |
What reviewers said
The Pedal of the Day review, published 31 March 2015, came down in favor of the pedal's simplicity and recommended picking one up if found. Mike B wrote: "it's nice to sit down with a 2 knob, 1 toggle pedal and just relax and play"1.
