The Reeves Electro IZZrite is a fuzz pedal built as a Daughterboard variant of the Mosrite Fuzzrite, the circuit Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson calls "the somewhat scuzzy garage punks' favourite fuzz". Where the standard Fuzzrite carries just two controls, the IZZrite adds an external Bias control on the front panel, letting the player dial in the circuit's bias by hand rather than leaving it fixed inside1.
What it does
Karlsson describes the circuit as "another distinct 2-Transistor circuit - a little rawer and more edgy than the classic Fuzz Face". For a player, that places the IZZrite in the two-transistor silicon fuzz camp: a rawer, edgier character than a Fuzz Face style circuit, drawn from the Fuzzrite design that garage punk players have long favored1.
The three controls work as follows:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Volume | Output level1 |
| Depth | A primitive clean blend1 |
| Height | Bias / Mis-Bias Mod, the control the standard two-control Fuzzrite does not have1 |
The Height control is the IZZrite's distinguishing feature. Karlsson calls it "an additional super-handy external Bias control", and it opens up the Mis-Bias territory that stays internal on the original design1.
Build and availability
The circuit takes the form of an eyelet board, which Karlsson describes as "beautiful work", and uses the 1984 ME C1016 Red Dot silicon transistors that Reeves Electro favors1. It belongs to the maker's Daughterboard series, which also includes the Facet IZ take on the silicon Fuzz Face and The Darlington Flyer1.
The first batch was limited to 20 units, which went on sale at 20:00 hrs BST (UK time) on 18 October 2025, with a second batch expected1.

Questions
How does the IZZrite differ from the original Mosrite Fuzzrite?
The original Fuzzrite carries just two controls. Reeves Electro's IZZrite keeps that layout but adds a third, an external Bias control, described as super handy, which brings the bias adjustment out to the front panel. It is built as a Daughterboard variant of the Fuzzrite circuit, using 1984 ME C1016 Red Dot silicon transistors rather than the original parts.
How many IZZrite pedals were made?
The first batch was 20 units, which went on sale at 20:00 hrs BST (UK time) on 18 October 2025. A second batch was expected to follow, according to Guitar Pedal X's launch report.
