The Servus! Pedale GLAM is a dual gain stage pedal from Servus! Pedale that combines a distortion with a clean boost. Its signal path is analog while the controls are digital, and Delicious Audio's Paolo De Gregorio described it as "a dual stages gain pedal with analog path and digital controls"1. As a distortion with a clean boost on board, it sits between a dedicated distortion pedal and a boost pedal in what it can do.

What it does

The GLAM's gain section is voiced, in the maker's description carried by Delicious Audio, as "a classic 70's-early 80's British amp-like distortion. With a very good dynamic response, [delivering anything] from a crunchy overdrive to a hard rock distortion"1. Players looking for that range might also compare it with a dedicated overdrive pedal pushed into higher gain territory.

The clean boost is placed after the gain stage and, per Delicious Audio, "delivers 15dB of extra punch to your amp"1. Because it sits after the distortion rather than before it, the boost raises the level of the already-distorted signal instead of pushing the gain stage harder.

Presets and expression control

The pedal stores its settings across six presets. The boost section's parameters, on/off and boost level, "can be easily stored on one of the 6 available presets"1.

The Gain and Level controls can be assigned to the Expression Pedal/CV input, so they can be controlled from an expression pedal or a CV signal between 0 and 5V. This assignment can itself be stored on a preset1.
