The Soran Dual Stomp is a dual pedal amp modeling multi-effects processor made by Soran, designed for both guitarists and bassists. Pedal of the Day describes it as perfectly suited for daily practice, band rehearsals, and small live performance, which places it in the same territory as other compact multi-effects pedals: one unit covering amp tones, effects, a looper and backing drums instead of a board of single-purpose pedals1.
What it does
The Dual Stomp carries eleven modules: WAH/VOL, GATE, OD/FX, AMP, CAB, EQ, MOD, DELAY, REVERB, LOOPER, and DRUM. All of them can run at the same time, so a single preset can chain a wah or volume function, a noise gate, an overdrive or other drive effect, an amp and cabinet model, EQ, modulation such as chorus, then delay and reverb, with a looper and drum machine available alongside1.
The headphone output and stereo outputs make it usable as a silent practice rig as well as a front-of-amp or direct-to-PA unit, and the dual-pedal format gives two footswitches for preset changes and module control on stage1.
Where it sits in the Soran range
The Dual Stomp is a bigger sibling to the Soran Tiny Stomp Desktop Amp Modeling Multi-Effects Processor, the palm-sized desktop unit in the same series. Pedal of the Day's reviewer noted having enjoyed the Tiny Stomp a few weeks earlier before turning to the Dual Stomp1.
What reviewers said
Pedal of the Day reviewed the Dual Stomp on 31 May 2026 and came away favorable on both usability and tone1:
"The control layout is extremely user-intuitive, the functionality is top-notch, and the sounds it is capable of creating"
