The Brexit Means Brexit is a distortion pedal from UK builder Tate FX, reported on by MusicRadar in May 2017. It is a one-off piece of political satire as much as a gain pedal: the enclosure depicts three of the EU exit's major players, Michael Gove, Theresa May and Nigel Farage1.
Under the artwork, the pedal is described as a hot-rodded Rat-type distortion circuit using the OP07 IC. Rat-type circuits are a familiar family in the distortion pedal world, and the OP07 opamp is part of what gives that design its character1.
Where it came from and what it cost
MusicRadar's news item, published 12 May 2017, called it "this superbly realised Brexit Means Brexit distortion pedal from Tate FX" and reported it as available to buy from Pedalboards Of Doom for £751.
"But it's not available in the EU, sorry."
That restriction is worth noting for players on either side of the channel: the pedal was reported as a UK purchase from Pedalboards Of Doom, with no EU availability1.
The price and availability here are as reported in May 2017. The pedal was a small-run novelty build, and no current production status is given by the reporting.
