TX Pedals Nebulae Gain Texturizer

The TX Pedals Nebulae Gain Texturizer is a small-batch gain pedal covering boost, overdrive, fuzz-drive, fuzzstortion and silicon fuzz from a single four-knob circuit. Players looking at the fuzz and overdrive lanes will find it sits across both, and reviewers found its strength in the middle ground: "I really feel this pedal excels on those in-between settings," a verdict that sums up its overall versatility¹.

Controls

The Nebulae keeps things to four knobs, and Guitar Pedal X's Stefan Karlsson described how they work together¹:

Together, the four controls "add gritty texture across the gain range"¹. The Presence control is the one that stands out on paper: centered at 1kHz, it pushes the upper mids forward and adds sizzle on top, which is what lets the pedal keep definition as the Gain control climbs into fuzz territory¹.

Where it came from

TX Pedals is Rikk Cabecas's operation, and the Nebulae is his small-batch gain pedal. Reviewers found its wide range of gain textures holds together best between the extremes: "I really feel this pedal excels on those in-between settings"¹.

What reviewers said

Guitar Pedal X's review, published in December 2023, was the source of the pedal's framing as an all-rounder. Karlsson's verdict leaned on the middle of the Gain range rather than either extreme¹:

That reading matches the pedal's spread of effect types: with boost, overdrive, fuzz-drive, fuzzstortion and silicon fuzz all covered, the settings where those categories blur are where Karlsson found the Nebulae at its strongest¹.
