The ZVEX Vertical Fuzz Factory EVFF01 is a fuzz pedal from ZVEX, built in a vertical enclosure as a one-off. The maker describes it as a "Vertical Fuzz Factory" and lists it on its own mod bench page, priced at $289.00 USD as of 25 October 2026. It is sold out.1
What makes this one different
The EVFF01 is a limited, one-of-a-kind take on the Fuzz Factory circuit. ZVEX says: "This Vertical Fuzz Factory sports engraved artwork by Lisa McGrath (LJM) and arcade knobs."1 The enclosure itself came from ZVEX's spare stock: "We had an extra blank enclosure and Lisa was feeling extra engrave-y one day, so we whipped up this bad boy for the util..."1
Lisa McGrath, who signs her work LJM, is the artist behind the hand-engraved housings ZVEX uses for its painted and engraved pedals. On a one-off like this, the artwork and the arcade-style knobs are what set it apart from the standard versions of the circuit1.
Where it sits in the Fuzz Factory family
The Fuzz Factory is ZVEX's best-known fuzz design, and the maker has released it in many forms over the years. If you are looking at this pedal because you want the circuit rather than the artwork, the standard ZVEX Fuzz Factory and the ZVEX Fuzz Factory Vexter are the regular production versions. Other vertical-enclosure and engraved relatives include the ZVEX Fuzz Factory Vertical, the ZVEX Reverse Fuzz Factory Engraved and the ZVEX Silicon Vertical Fuzz Factory. For a larger take on the same idea, there is the ZVEX Fat Fuzz Factory, and for the wider family see the fuzz type page at Fuzz Pedals.
This is a one-off pedal and the maker's page lists it as sold out, so it will not reappear in regular stock.
