TC Electronic Launches the Bucket Brigade Analog Delay Leave a comment

TC Electronic has introduced the newest addition to its pedal roster—the Bucket Brigade Analog Delay.

Boasting a compact form and surprisingly affordable price point, the Bucket Brigade brings vintage-esque delay tones and modern versatility together. That is credited to the inbuilt modulation effect and bucket brigade circuit.

Tone-wise, the Bucket Brigade promises articulate delay sounds and warm-sounding recreations thanks to its authentic analog BBD design that delivers up to 600ms of delay time.

Regarding operation, the Bucket Brigade is controllable via control knobs for Depth, Delay, Volume, and Feedback. While Delay takes care of dialing up the delay time, the Feedback parameter sets the number of repeats you can hear. Per the brand, fully cranking the Feedback dial sends the Bucket Brigade into wild self-oscillation.

Meanwhile, the Depth dial works in tandem with the toggle switch to set the overall modulation levels. When the Modulation switch is not engaged, it stays dormant.

Elsewhere, there’s a true bypass on/off footswitch and an on/off Modulation toggle switch for activating the modulation circuit.

“We wanted to craft a high quality wall-to-wall all analog design with the sole purpose of putting an incredibly flexible analog delay in the hands of capable guitarists everywhere,” TC Electronic Product Manager Paul Robert Scott states.

You can now purchase the Bucket Brigade Analog Delay for $69.
