Amptweaker’s TightFuzz Jr is a versatile fuzz pedal with a Tight attack switch and Silicon/Germanium transistor switch for different gain and tone. The Katzenkönig fuzz pedal is capable of making your guitar signal wail. Translating to “Cat King,” it is a combination of a Rat distortion pedal and Tone Bender MkII fuzz. This wide-ranging pedal gives you tones from creamy and smooth to wailing, snarling fuzz. Unlike many fuzz pedals, it works fine with high output humbuckers. The Amptweaker TightFuzz Distortion Effect Pedal is sure to incorporate some vintage flavor to your arsenal. Unlike most vintage fuzz boxes with limited controls, the TightFuzz features a Tone control that tames fuzzy edges and Tight control that varies the pick attack from thick and smooth to aggressive and tight. That is especially helpful for tweaking your fuzz tone as some tend to be very flubby on the low end. While most modern fuzz boxes decided to make excessive fuzz tone, Amptweaker chose to create something with several flexible yet usable tones.
The Bee Buzz started as a Custom Shop project to grant the request of its Japanese distributor, who preordered twenty pedals. It is Black Cat’s version of the highly sought after vintage Roland Bee Baa. The first prototype has turned out very well, Black Cat decided to continue the run and has manufactured fifty Black Cat Custom Bee Buzz pedals in total. The Bee Buzz fuzz pedal is hardwired in the USA, featuring elegant top-grade hardware and knobs.
